Project Updates
September 5, 2012 - Met with school architect, Lynda Rothermel, to obtain topographic maps and information related to the site.
September 12, 2010 - Met with Ed Gruber, TCNJ groundskeeper, to discuss potential locations for soil analysis and ground water table analysis.
September 18, 2012 - Met with Mike Weber from TCNJ's facilities and moved soil locations due to water lines.
September 20, 2012 - Dug 2 holes to conduct percolation test. Percolation test was conducted in two locations in the Townhouse South area. The test was conducted in accordance to NJBMP standards.
September 25, 2012 - Conducted soil sampling and testing on soil from two locations. Soil tests included sieve analysis and moisture contents. Tests were conducted in accordance with ASTM Standard D2216.
September 25 -October 1, 2012
Dug two locations to monitor the ground water table. Location one was in a location too high on a high to monitor water, so another location was used. This location is located directly behind one of the main locations for flooding. The ground water table will be monitored periodically throughout the remainder of the semester as well as throughout the spring semester.

Soil analysis was conducted on soil samples. Samples were taken every 1 ft during the auguring process. The following tests were conducted on the soil samples:
- sieve analysis
- moisture content
- liquid limit
- plastic limit
- percolation test

Groundwater table was measured using the ground water table measuring device purchased by TCNJ. No water was detected thus indicating the ground water table is located further than the depth of our well.
